What happens after I place an order?
A person checks your artwork, then your order goes into production. When it is dispatched by courier, we email you a tracking link.
1. Artwork check
Every order gets a free artwork check by a person. If there is any issue, we contact you.
Artwork you upload through checkout is treated as approved by you. Print-ready files that you supplied go to print after the check, and we do not send a proof for them. If we need to amend your files, we agree that with you by email beforehand.
We send a proof only when we have changed, fixed or created the artwork. Production then waits for your sign-off, which you give by email. You are responsible for proofing and signing off your artwork, so check it carefully. Proofs are for checking content only and are not colour accurate. See What does signing off my artwork mean?.
2. Production
Production begins when both of these are true:
- we have received your payment, and
- we have accepted your artwork, or you have approved the print-ready artwork we sent you.
If that happens after 12pm on a production day, production begins on the following production day. Production days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
How long production takes depends on the option you chose. Most products offer Saver, Standard and Express, and the time for each is shown on the product page. See What turnaround options are there?.
Larger quantities and complex finishing take longer. We tell you during ordering.
3. Dispatch
Finished orders are sent by courier. We send a dispatch email on every order, with a tracking link. A VAT invoice is emailed to you automatically.
You can see your order at printlogik.co.uk/account/orders, but the account does not show a live status. See Where is my order?.
